In Natick, a newcomer to town will quickly feel like a "townie", as our small-town charm will make you feel right at home. This tight knit community, with its history and character offers small town scenery, with the same quick route to the big city as some of its more extravagant neighbors. And because of that, it is growing quickly, and considered a wonderful place to settle in, while you still can.
Rather than a couple of big name attraction to the list in a tourist guidebook, Natick is filled to the brim with more family sized features and businesses. We have classic Holiday town parades and the beautiful Natick Commons, with its local Farmers Market, as well as canoeing and hiking trails that will make you forget that you are right in Boston's "Metro West".
We love the fact that we've got all the modern amenities and shopping you could ever want, but we're proud that our roots run deep enough that we've got a Main Street center, with Mom and Pop shops and businesses. You can hit the links at Sassamon Trace golf course, then relax and talk about your game at your favorite hangout Morses Tavern, The Dolphin or Agostino's in the heart of town. There's even a hidden gem, the World War II Museum, and to top it off, in the spring, the Boston Marathon runs from milepost 8 through 12, right through downtown Natick.
With two commuter rails stops, and quick access to the major arteries out of town, the commute back to the big city is only minutes away. Well, that is convenient, of course, but we love it here at home, and aren't always in a rush to leave! Come visit our home town! You’ll be glad you did.
